Braemar - Diversification paying dividends

Braemar’s FY24 trading update was in line with expectations, with revenues of c £150m and underlying operating profit of c £18m. Underlying operations continue to expand and diversify and the company remains well-positioned to drive its future growth strategy. The trading outlook is promising and Braemar should be able to leverage its strong balance sheet in pursuit of strategic growth. We have maintained our underlying estimates for FY24 and FY25, but edge down the valuation based on the lower FY24 dividend expectations. The revised valuation offers nearly 100% upside.

Braemar - Interims in line, growth strategy developing

Braemar’s H124 results were in line with expectations with revenues up by 8%, but operating profits were down, having been hit by one-off costs. The underlying operations continue to expand and diversify, and the company remains well-positioned to drive its future growth strategy. The trading outlook is promising and Braemar should be able to leverage its strong balance sheet in pursuit of strategic growth. We have maintained our underlying revenue and operating profit estimates for FY24 and FY25 and retain our 520p per share valuation, offering c 85% upside.

Following the release of the delayed, but in-line FY23 results covering the period to February 2023, trading in Braemar shares recommenced on 21 November. Custodian Property Income REIT - Significant uplift in fully covered DPS

Custodian Property Income REIT (CREI) produced a strong Q424 performance, driven by leasing progress and rental growth, rounding off a positive year. Reflecting FY24 performance, the company will pay a special dividend of 0.3p per share, additional to aggregate quarterly DPS of 5.5p, fully covered by EPRA earnings. The FY25 annual DPS target is increased by 9% to 6.0p, underpinned by the continuing strength of the commercial property occupier market and CREI’s increasing confidence in the outlook.
