Domino's Pizza - Growing the base

Domino’s Pizza Group’s (DOM’s) new CEO has set an ambitious long-term growth target, including an acceleration in its net store opening programme. With better alignment between the company and its franchisees, management believes DOM should be capable of generating improved profit growth, versus that achieved in recent years, and potential higher returns.

Domino's Pizza Group is a pizza company. Co. has exclusive master franchise rights in the U.K., Republic of Ireland, Switzerland, Norway, Sweden and Germany markets under an agreement with Domino's Pizza International Franchising Inc. Co. operates in two geographical business units: the U.K. and Ireland, which operates mature markets with a sub-franchise model and limited corporate stores; and International (Switzerland, Germany, Iceland, Norway and Sweden), whose markets are at an earlier stage of development. As of Dec 31 2017, Co. had 1,045 stores in the U.K., 51 stores in Norway, 49 stores in Republic of Ireland, 23 stores in Iceland, 18 stores in Switzerland, and six stores in Sweden.
