Game Digital - Suspension of estimates
For the purposes of the Takeover Code, Edison Investment Research is deemed to be connected with GAME Digital plc. Under Rule 20.1 Edison must not include any profit forecast, quantified financial benefits statement, asset valuation or estimate of other figures key to the offer, except to the extent that such forecasts, statements, valuations or estimates have been published prior to the offer period (as defined in the Takeover Code) by an offeror or the offeree company (as appropriate) in accordance with the requirements of the Code.Consequently we have removed our estimates until the Offer Period ends.
Game Digital provides gaming and gaming-related products, including hardware, console physical content, console digital content, non-console digital content, accessories, licensed merchandise and own-label products in the U.K. and Spain. Co. also sells mobile devices and movies, provides gaming experiences in-store on consoles, personal computers and virtual reality devices and operates community-based gaming activities including gaming events and esports, digital hosting services for businesses and customers for multiplayer gaming. Also, Co. operates a software development business focusing on visual recognition and augmented reality technologies. At Jul 31 2017, Co. operated 572 stores.
