Lighthouse Group - Strategic agreement with Tavistock Investments
Lighthouse (LGT) has announced a strategic agreement with Tavistock Investments (TAVI) that will provide it with access to Tavistock’s investment solutions. This will help deliver the broader offering Lighthouse seeks for its in-house asset management arm, Luceo. In conjunction with this agreement, Lighthouse has subscribed £1m to Tavistock’s £1.25m equity fund-raising giving it a 5.3% stake. Our valuation (c 44p) and estimates are unchanged at this stage.Lighthouse Group provides financial advice to customers and regulatory authorization to financial advisers, and investment propositions to its customers through third-party investment managers. Co. has three segments: Lighthouse Financial Advice, which is a national advisory business providing financial advice and solutions to the market area termed Middle Britain, and holds contractual arrangements as the preferred provider of financial advice to the members of affinity groups; Wealth management, which comprises advisers within LighthouseCarrwood Limited and LighthouseWealth Limited; and Lighthouse Advisory Services Limited, which is an authorized network of self-employed adviser.
