Maturing epigenetics portfolio

Oryzon has been making steady progress with its epigenetics R&D pipeline. Following positive Phase I/IIa trial results in December 2016, ORY-1001, an LSD1 inhibitor, is now in Roche’s hands and the company is focusing on its newer programmes: clinical-stage ORY-2001, a dual LSD1/MAOB inhibitor for neurodegenerative diseases and ORY-3001, a selective LSD1 inhibitor, in advanced preclinical studies in non-cancer areas. We have incorporated the recent €18m equity raise into our valuation, which has increased to €308m.

The Company's business model focuses on identifying biomarkers that can be translated in new therapeutic targets, as well as on investing in programs, mainly through the development of small molecules for two main indications: cancer and neurodegeneration. The Company develops investigational medicines till proof of concept (POC) phase and then partners the program with pharmaceutical entities, which are able to get the approval from drug agencies to bring these medicines to the patients. It cooperates with Roche. The Company is a subsidiary of Laboratorio Reig Jofre SA.
