Provaris Energy - European collaboration MOU signed

The memorandum of understanding (MOU) signed with Norwegian Hydrogen is the latest significant step in Provaris Energy’s development of a cost-effective green hydrogen (GH2) transportation solution for Europe. The first Norwegian commercial hydrogen export volumes are likely to become available around the time of Provaris’s H2Neo carrier’s maiden voyage in 2027, neatly linking with the European Union’s REPowerEU ambition to develop a hydrogen industry.

Provaris Energy’s pace of progress towards its goals of producing and transporting green hydrogen appears to be accelerating. In its latest quarterly activities report, it highlighted the awarding of ‘Design Approval’ for its novel compressed hydrogen (H2) carrier, the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Norwegian Hydrogen, and significant appointments and developments at its key Tiwi H2 project. Provaris Energy - Project de-risked by class approval

The class ‘Design Approval’ for Provaris’ H2Neo compressed green hydrogen carrier has been issued by the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS). This is a key step for Provaris, as discussed in our recent Q3 activity update note. The approval opens the way for Provaris, assisted by shipping expert Clarksons, to seek a shipyard to quote for and construct the carrier. The novel vessel design gives Provaris first-mover advantage in large-scale hydrogen transport solutions and paves the way for the much more cost-effective H2Max vessel, which has five-times the capacity.

Greggs - More challenging environment in H224

Greggs has reported that FY24 profit is in line with management’s expectation despite the more challenging environment and slowing sales growth through H224. The more challenging market means that management is more cautious about the outlook for H125 than previously.
