Witan Investment Trust (WTAN) seeks to achieve long-term income and capital growth through active multi-manager investment in global equities. Following a number of manager changes in 2013, CEO Andrew Bell sees the stock-picking approach of Witan’s specialist investment managers as well-suited to the current environment with market returns expected to be primarily driven by corporate earnings growth. Witan has outperformed its benchmark over 10 years and delivered a dividend growth rate double the rate of inflation over the same period. The trust’s expenses remain at a moderate level with total ongoing charges of 1.12% in 2013.Witan Investment Trust is an investment trust company. Co. provides managed exposure to global markets (principally equities) using a multi-manager approach. The portfolio is diversifi ed by geographical region, industrial sector and at the individual stock level. Co. is managed by the executive team of its subsidiary Witan Investment Services Limited (WIS), as Alternative Investment Fund Manager. WIS provides marketing services and investment products to Co. and executive management and marketing services to third party investment trust clients.
