Outlook: Cube route to data

YouGov is focused on growing its Data Products and Services, which generated half of operating profits in FY14, recently reported. Brand Index and Omnibus lead the way, giving competitive advantage and delivering higher margins than custom research. With the breadth and depth of data derived from the group’s close relationship with its own panellists, assembled in a unified resource, YouGov can derive powerful contextual information. The new Profiles offering uses this to give an added, distinct proposition of great value to marketers. The current rating, at the mid point of a range of international peers, does not fully reflect this potential.
