Capcora has successfully assisted the shareholders of the renowned online marketplace for PV systems, Milk the Sun, in the sale of all shares to AKV Holding GmbH ("AKV Holding"). This strategically significant step is part of a comprehensive succession plan. AKV Holding, led by entrepreneur Andreas Köhler, who has previously founded the successful Solar Direktinvestment GmbH, is acquiring the company. Both parties have agreed to maintain confidentiality regarding the details of this transaction.

Founded in 2012, Milk the Sun has established itself as a leading international marketplace for direct investments in commercial-scale PV projects and services. The company has supported transactions in over 50 countries worldwide, with the main market being mature central European countries, particularly Germany. Milk the Sun provides a comprehensive platform for independent investors and operators of commercial solar installations.

The company has achieved remarkable growth, having facilitated over 1,000 PV projects worldwide with a total capacity of approximately 1.9 GWp and a transaction volume of more than one billion euros since its inception. More than 41,000 users and over 350 contacts in Engineering, Procurement, and Construction ("EPC") and installation sectors are available on the platform to support users throughout the entire process.

Milk the Sun's revenue comes from different sources, with the primary source being brokerage fees arising from buyers acquiring PV projects through the platform. Additional revenue is generated through premium platform features and services.

When selecting a suitable partner, the strategic approach of the investor was crucial for the shareholders. Another concern for the existing shareholders was ensuring continuity in the company's technical leadership and providing job security for employees.
