Deutsche Wohnen: Annual general meeting to be held virtually on 5 June 2020

Berlin, 29 April 2020. Deutsche Wohnen SE will hold this year's Annual General Meeting as a virtual general meeting to protect the health of shareholders, employees and the service providers involved. By forgoing an on-site meeting, we want to fulfil our social obligation and actively contribute to containing the spread of the Coronavirus.

At the same time, we are adhering to the announced date of 5 June 2020, are meeting the expectations of our shareholders and, as a Societas Europaea, will hold the Annual General Meeting within six months of the end of the financial year.

In accordance with the law to mitigate the consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic, for registered shareholders there will be an audio-visual broadcast of the entire Annual General Meeting and voting rights will also be exercisable via electronic communication.
