Berlin, Germany and Gembloux, Belgium – 23 January 2024 – Eckert & Ziegler (ISIN DE0005659700, SDAX) and Full-Life Technologies (Full-Life), a clinical stage, fully integrated global radiotherapeutics company today announced they have entered into an agreement for the supply of Actinium-225 (Ac-225). The agreement provides Full-Life with access to Eckert & Ziegler's high-purity Actinium-225, a radionuclide for use in developing the next generation of therapeutic radiopharmaceuticals.

Ac-225 has emerged as a highly promising active agent for the treatment of cancer. The radioisotope releases potent alpha particles with high energy and short penetration depths, allowing for precise targeting of tumor cells, including hard-to-reach micro-metastases, while minimizing impact on surrounding healthy tissue. Based on its potential, clinical and industry experts expect a substantial increase in Ac-225 demand in the coming decade.
