Corporate News PNE AG successful in onshore wind power tenders
Cuxhaven, June 27, 2023 - The PNE Group was once again very successful in the latest round of tenders for onshore wind turbines issued by the Bundesnetzagentur. The wind power projects in "Heidmoor" and "Bebensee" made it through the tender process, having already received their permits in the first quarter of this year. In "Heidmoor" 6 wind turbines with a total rated output of 36 megawatts (MW) are to be built, in "Bebensee" 5 wind turbines with a total output of 33 MW. Both wind farms are located in Schleswig-Holstein and are scheduled to go into operation next year. "We are very pleased that we have again succeeded in winning contracts for all the projects we put out to tender. The additional megawatts, totaling 69 MW, will be transferred to our own operations. In this way, we are further strengthening our position as an independent power producer (IPP)," says Markus Lesser, CEO of PNE AG. The PNE Group's own generation portfolio currently comprises 349.5 MW. The objective of PNE AG's corporate strategy Scale up 2.0 is to have its own wind farms and photovoltaic plants with an output of 1,500 MW/MWp in operation or under construction by the end of 2027.
