Oberkirch, December 18, 2019 - This year PWO is supporting a charitable organization from the region with a Christmas donation of EUR 2,000 to the AGJ Assistance to the Homeless (AGJ-Wohnungslosenhilfe) in the District of Ortenau, Offenburg.

The organization offers housing assistance and a wide range of outpatient services tailored to individual cases. Work aids are also intended to help the homeless pursue meaningful activities and renew their self-confidence.

Through its Christmas donation, PWO is participating in the current campaign "Smartphones for the Homeless". Without digital access, homeless people are excluded from information and social contacts. The fundraising campaign is intended to help make participation possible. PWO's donation will also be used to provide practical assistance, such as financing tickets for transportation, to enable homeless people to exercise their right to contact with their children.

AGJ Assistance to the Homeless has a staff of twenty full-time employees and a number of volunteers.
