SNP and Snowflake intensify partnership and launch Native App “Data Streaming for SAP” in the Cloud

• SNP’s Data Streaming for SAP app was built using the Snowflake Native App Framework.
• The app reduces data latency associated with integrating streaming data volumes.
• Cost efficient ingestion of streaming SAP data volumes into Snowflake.

Heidelberg, Germany – June 28, 2023 – SNP, a world-leading provider of SAP-based software solutions for digital transformation processes, automated data migrations and data management in the SAP environment, today announced at this year's Snowflake Summit in Las Vegas, the launch of “Data Streaming for SAP”, a Snowflake Native App on the Snowflake Marketplace. This new solution is bringing simplification for organizations with SAP systems to integrate SAP data quickly and securely with Snowflake. Many SNP and Snowflake joint customers are already realizing the benefits of SNP Glue, and with the addition of SNP’s Snowflake Native App, Data Streaming for SAP, SAP customers can further optimize the ingestion of SAP data directly into Snowflake.

The Native App Framework of the the Californian Data Cloud company Snowflake is available for developers to build and test apps natively in the Data Cloud with additional distribution and monetization capabilities in public preview soon. Snowflake Native Apps usher in a new era of data collaboration, enabling developers with the tools needed to create robust apps quickly with Snowflake’s high availability and auto-scalability, all the while reducing security and procurement hurdles for customers because the apps run directly within the customers’ Snowflake accounts. Snowflake Marketplace already has over 25 new Snowflake Native Apps available today.
