The Bulgarian stock market advanced on Wednesday while the volumes remained relatively low and the effect came mostly from fluctuations with single names. SOFIX (435.55) added 0.50% as only 3 out of 15 members ended the session on the negative territory but other 6 finished almost unchanged. Chimimport (6C4, BGN 1.08) and Holding Varna (5V2, BGN 38.80), became daily gainers within the benchmark index but still the volume of both names was far from the average for the last 3-months. Monbat (5MB, BGN 4.08) jumped by 2.00% as the corporate news for intention to develop bi-polar batteries raised the interest in the name and more than 31K shares were traded in this session. Eurohold (4EH) showed a positive move of 7.29% but still the average price of 331K traded shares was BGN 0.8836.
