Inflation Review

Headline inflation accelerated to 4.8% in May from 3.1% YOY growth in the previous month. This is the highest YOY growth seen since April 2014. This was however below Frontier’s estimates which expected a higher growth in the F&B category given the adverse weather patterns. Overall, headline inflation saw a MOM growth of 2.4%, above the 1.3% growth in April.
