Riikka Luukko appointed the new CEO of Aktia Life Insurance

Riikka Luukko has been appointed the new CEO of Aktia Life Insurance as of 1 September. She is currently working as Director of Business Development at Aktia, in charge of especially private customers’ investment products and services. Luukko has until now also been a Board member of Aktia Life Insurance.

Riikka Luukko has a solid experience in banking, as well as a very comprehensive knowledge of the life insurance business. Before her career in Aktia, Luukko worked, among other things, as Development Director at Mandatum Life.

“Life insurance plays an important role in Aktia's strategy and we want to invest even further in the life insurance offering and development. Riikka's experience and competence are an excellent fit for these goals”, says Juha Hammarén, Chairman of the Board at Aktia Life Insurance and Executive Vice President of Aktia.

Aktia Life Insurance Company’s current CEO, Seppo Sibakov, will continue as the Executive Vice President of the company.
