Allied Announces December 2019 Distribution and Distribution Increase for 2020

TORONTO, Dec. 04, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Allied Properties REIT (TSX:”AP.UN”) announced today that its Trustees have (i) declared a distribution of $0.133 per unit for the month of December, 2019, payable on January 15, 2020, to unitholders of record on December 31, 2019, and (ii) approved an increase in monthly cash distributions for 2020 to $0.1375 per unit ($1.65 per unit annualized, up 3% from $1.60 per unit annualized in 2019).

“Management and the Trustees support the two-fold objective of raising distributions on an annual basis while simultaneously reducing pay-out ratios,” said Michael Emory, President and CEO. “We’re confident of our ability to reduce our FFO and AFFO pay-out ratios in 2020 despite this distribution increase.”
