Group Chief Financial Officer forlader FLSmidth

Group Chief Financial Officer, Lars Vestergaard, og FLSmidths bestyrelse har efter fælles aftale besluttet, at det rette tidspunkt for forandring er kommet. Lars Vestergaard træder således tilbage og forlader FLSmidth med øjeblikkelig virkning. Bestyrelsen har besluttet, at der er behov for et andet kompetencesæt til at styrke vores organisation og eksekvere planmæssigt i forhold til vores langsigtede finansielle målsætninger.

Bestyrelsesformand, Vagn Sørensen og Group CEO, Thomas Schulz: “Vi vil gerne udtrykke vores anerkendelse af Lars Vestergaards engagement og dedikation til FLSmidth. Vi har skabt en stærkere og fokuseret organisation, og vi vil gerne takke Lars Vestergaard for hans bidrag til disse vigtige milepæle.”

Der er fundet en ny Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO), som starter i FLSmidth 1. juli, 2020, eller før. En seperat, rettidig meddelelse vil blive udsendt herom. Naja Barrisøe, VP, Head of Group Reporting and Compliance vil fungere som interim CFO.

Ændringen i FLSmidths direktion vil ikke have nogen indvirkning på den finansielle guidance for 2019.
