Nexstim Oyj aloittaa YT-neuvottelut

Nexstim Oyj (NXTMH:HEX, NXTMS:STO) (”Nexstim” tai ”Yhtiö”) ilmoittaa aloittavansa yhteistoimintaneuvottelut, jotka koskevat yhtiön koko Suomen henkilökuntaa.

Yhtiö arvioi maailmanlaajuisen koronavirustilanteen vaikeuttavan nopealla aikataululla yhtiön liiketoimintaympäristöä.  Yhtiö näkee lisäksi, että sopeuttamistoimenpiteet ovat välttämättömiä yhtiön tuotannollisten ja taloudellisten toimintaedellytysten turvaamiseksi. Nexstim-konsernin tavoitteena on saavuttaa jopa 3 miljoonan euron vuosisäästöt globaaleista toiminnoistaan. Säästöohjelman toimeenpano aloitetaan välittömästi.

Yhtiön alustavien arvioiden mukaan Suomessa toteutettavat YT-neuvottelut saattavat johtaa henkilöstövähennyksiin sekä henkilöstön lomautuksiin toistaiseksi. Irtisanomisten arvioidaan koskevan Suomessa korkeintaan viittä työntekijää. Lomautusuhan alla on muu henkilöstö. Neuvottelut koskevat kaikkia henkilöstöryhmiä. YT-neuvottelut saataneen päätökseen huhtikuun alkuun mennessä.

SmartFocus® TMS teknologiaa käytetään Nexstimin kehittämässä NBT® (Navigated Brain Therapy) -laitteistossa, jolla on FDA:n markkinointi- ja jakelulupa vakavan masennuksen hoitoon Yhdysvalloissa. NBT®-laitteisto on CE-hyväksytty Euroopassa käytettäväksi vakavan masennuksen ja kroonisen neuropaattisen kivun hoidossa.

Lisäksi Nexstim markkinoi kehittämäänsä,  SmartFocus® TMS teknologiaan perustuvaa NBS (Navigated Brain Stimulation) -laitteistoa. Nexstimin NBS-laitteisto on ainoa FDA:n hyväksymä ja CE-merkitty navigoiva TMS-laitteisto liikeaivokuoren ja aivojen puhealueiden leikkausta edeltävää kartoitusta varten. Nexstimin osakkeet on listattu Nasdaq First North Finlandin ja Nasdaq First North Swedenin markkinapaikoilla.
