Nexstim Oyj päivittää koko vuoden 2020 tulevaisuudennäkymää

Nexstim Oyj (NXTMH:HEX, NXTMS:STO) (”Nexstim” tai ”Yhtiö”) ilmoittaa että koronavirus COVID-19 pandemia vaikeuttaa Yhtiön liiketoimintaympäristöä ja sen vuoksi ei ole mahdollista antaa koko vuoden 2020 liikevaihdosta arviota ennen kuin terveyskriisin kesto on paremmin tiedossa.

Kustannussäästöt, joista ilmoitettiin 26.3.2020, arvioidaan vähentävän koko vuoden 2020 liiketappiota vuoteen 2019 verrattuna. Yhtiö arvioi, että näiden kustannussäästövaikutusten toteutuessa sekä lainojen takaisinmaksujen tapahtuessa aiemmin sovittujen aikataulujen mukaisesti, Yhtiön käyttöpääoma riittää vuoden 2020 kolmannen vuosineljänneksen loppuun asti.

Yhtiön tarkennetut tulevaisuudennäkymät: Koko vuoden 2020 liiketappion odotetaan vähenevän vuoteen 2019 verrattuna.

Nämä taloudelliset näkymät korvaavat aikaisemman, 28.2.2020 julkaistun arvion, jonka mukaan Yhtiö odotti liiketoimintaennusteiden perusteella, että vuonna 2020 NBT-liiketoiminnan liikevaihto olisi kasvanut ja että tilikauden tulos olisi ollut tappiollinen.

Lisäksi Nexstim markkinoi kehittämäänsä,  SmartFocus® TMS teknologiaan perustuvaa NBS (Navigated Brain Stimulation) -laitteistoa. Nexstimin NBS-laitteisto on ainoa FDA:n hyväksymä ja CE-merkitty navigoiva TMS-laitteisto liikeaivokuoren ja aivojen puhealueiden leikkausta edeltävää kartoitusta varten. Nexstimin osakkeet on listattu Nasdaq First North Growth Market Finlandin ja Nasdaq First North Growth Market Swedenin markkinapaikoilla.
