RAPT Therapeutics to be Added to the Russell 2000® and Russell Microcap® Indices
SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, Calif., Dec. 16, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- RAPT Therapeutics, Inc. (Nasdaq: RAPT), a clinical-stage immunology-based biopharmaceutical company focused on discovering, developing and commercializing oral small molecule therapies for patients with significant unmet needs in oncology and inflammatory diseases, today announced that the Company will be added to the Russell 2000® and Russell Microcap® Indices as a part of the Russell quarterly update, effective December 23, 2019.
The Russell 2000® Index measures the performance of the small-cap segment of the U.S. equity market, while membership in the Russell Microcap® Index measures the performance of the micro-cap segment. Membership in the Russell 2000 and Microcap Indices also provides automatic inclusion in the appropriate growth and value style indices. Both the Russell 2000 and Russell Microcap Indices roll up into the Russell 3000® Index, which measures the performance of the 3,000 largest publicly-traded U.S. companies based on market capitalization.
