Solvay cède sa participation dans la coentreprise RusVinyl

Solvay annonce avoir convenu des conditions finales pour céder sa participation de 50% dans la coentreprise RusVinyl à son partenaire Sibur. Une fois finalisée, cette cession marquera une nouvelle étape importante de la transformation du portefeuille de Solvay et la dernière étape de sa stratégie visant à se retirer des activités mondiales cycliques dans le domaine du chlorure de polyvinyle (PVC).

L'accord est basé sur un prix de rachat de la participation de 50% de Solvay à environ €430 millions. Une moins-value d'environ €175 millions sera comptabilisée à l'issue de la transaction, reflétant principalement la matérialisation des écarts de conversion historiques.

La clôture de la transaction devrait avoir lieu vers la fin du premier trimestre 2023.
