Aktietilbagekøbsprogram på DKK 300 millioner afsluttet

Scandinavian Tobacco Group A/S har nu afsluttet sit aktietilbagekøbsprogram til en samlet pris på op til DKK 300 millioner, som blev påbegyndt den 28. august 2020. Per 26. februar 2021 har Scandinavian Tobacco Group A/S tilbagekøbt i alt 2.957.742 aktier til en transaktionsværdi på DKK 300 millioner under aktietilbagekøbsprogrammet, der blev offentliggjort i selskabsmeddelelse nr. 21/2020.

Formålet med tilbagekøbsprogrammet har været at justere selskabets kapitalstruktur og opfylde forpligtelserne i forhold til koncernens aktiebaserede incitamentsprogram. På den ordinære generalforsamling den 14. april 2021 er det bestyrelsens hensigt at foreslå en reduktion af aktiekapitalen på baggrund af aktietilbagekøbet.

Aktietilbagekøbsprogrammet er blevet gennemført i overensstemmelse med EU-forordning nr. 596/2014 af 16. april 2014 (Markedsmisbrugsforordningen) og Kommissionens delegerede forordning (EU) 2016/1052, de såkaldte Safe Harbour-regler.
