Territorial Bancorp Inc. Completes Eleventh Repurchase Program

HONOLULU, July 12, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Territorial Bancorp Inc., (NASDAQ: TBNK) (the “Company”), headquartered in Honolulu, Hawaii, the holding company parent of Territorial Savings Bank, announces that the Company has completed its eleventh stock repurchase program. Under this repurchase program, the Company was authorized to repurchase up to $5,000,000 of the Company’s outstanding shares. The Company repurchased 220,029 shares of its common stock at an average price of $22.66 per share. Overall, the Company has repurchased 4,124,479 shares of common stock or 33.72% of the shares issued in its initial public offering in 2009. The Company’s Board of Directors regularly reviews capital management options, including stock repurchase programs, and any future decision to adopt one or more additional stock repurchase programs would be subject to general market conditions, the trading price of the stock, alternative uses for capital, and the Company’s financial performance.
