The Black College World Series Presented by Tyson Foods Announces its Return to Montgomery, Alabama in 2023

The Montgomery Biscuits and Riverwalk Stadium to host tournament May 9-13, 2023

SPRINGDALE, Ark., Nov. 01, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The Black College World Series (BCWS) Presented by Tyson Foods will return to Riverwalk Stadium, in Montgomery, Alabama, May 9-13, 2023, where eight Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) will compete for the third BCWS championship.

Riverwalk Stadium is home to the Montgomery Biscuits, the Double-A affiliate of the Tampa Bay Rays who play in the Southern League.

The top team from the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division II bracket in the tournament will face off against the top team from the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) bracket to determine the champion. Tournament play will begin Tuesday, May 9 and conclude with the championship game Saturday, May 13.
