BANGKOK, Thailand, March 26, 2024 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- XPENG Motors („XPENG“ oder das „Unternehmen“, NYSE: XPEV und HKEX: 9868), ein führendes chinesisches Unternehmen für intelligente Elektrofahrzeuge (Smart Electic Vehicles, „Smart EV“), gibt heute seine neueste langfristige strategische Partnerschaft in Thailand mit Neo Mobility Asia Co. bekannt, einem Joint Venture zwischen Arun Plus Mobility Holdings Co. Ltd, einer Tochtergesellschaft von PTT, und MGC-Asia GreenTech Co. Ltd.

Die Partnerschaft markiert die internationale Präsenz von XPENG, da es nun in der ASEAN-Region vertreten ist, und führte zur offiziellen Vorstellung von XPENG auf der 45. Bangkok International Motor Show.

Im Rahmen der internationalen Expansionspläne von XPENG hat sich eine wachsende Liste neuer Partner aus den strategischen Märkten von XPENG zusammengeschlossen, um den lokalen Verbrauchern die neuesten Smart EVs der Marke vorzustellen, darunter Premium Automobiles aus Singapur und Bermaz Auto aus Malaysia.

Die globale Marktstrategie von XPENG konzentriert sich auf den Aufbau von Partnerschaften mit lokalen Importeuren/Händlern, um ein erstklassiges Vertriebs-, Verkaufs- und Servicenetz in verschiedenen Regionen zu schaffen. XPENG wird den G6 SUV in Thailand, Singapur und Malaysia anbieten und ab dem dritten Quartal 2024 ausliefern. Der G6 wurde für globale Märkte entwickelt und basiert auf der evolutionären Smart Electric Platform Architecture (SEPA) 2.0 von XPENG, die die Grundlage für künftige Produktionsmodelle bildet und gleichzeitig die Entwicklungszyklen verkürzt und die Herstellungskosten senkt.
