NESTLÉ CI operates in Cote d’Ivoire since 1960. In fact, the Abidjan Zone 4 factory is the first plant opened by Nestlé S.A in the Central and West Africa area. Nestlé CI is part of the entity “Nestlé Central & West Africa Limited” (as known as Nestlé CWAR) created in 2005 and incorporated in Ghana.
The company has also a second factory opened in 1970, a Research & Development Centre (2009), and a Quality and Assurance Centre (2015).
