The first semester of 2019 was strongly affected by the upward trend of rubber international price (SICOM 20). Indeed, the SICOM 20 price stood at USD 1.4590 per kilogram at the end of June 2019 against USD 1.2860 at the beginning of January 2019, representing a 13% increase. However, on a comparable basis, the average SICOM 20 price rose by 1%, from USD 1.4322 per kilogram to USD 1.4533 in H119.
