Weekly Comment - West Africa Regional Stock Exchange

This week the market decreased by 1.48% compared to last week. Thus. BRVM Index stood at 210.24 points against 213.39 points last week. 

The bond market ended the week with a drop of 0.33 % at XOF 3 203.75 billion which is mainly due to the lost in price (XOF 5) at XOF 9 995 of the bonds “TPBJ 6.50% 2017-2027”. The total value traded on the market amounts to XOF 59.89 million for 6 047 bonds. The bond “TPTG 6.90% 2018-2023” with 3 480 bonds for XOF 34.80 million was the most liquid, representing 58.11% of the total value traded.
