Comme attendu depuis quelques semaines, ONXEO publie ce matin les premiers résultats cliniques évaluant son principal candidat médicament, Livatag, dans le carcinome hépatocellulaire avancé. Ces résultats s’avèrent négatifs étant donné qu’aucune amélioration de la survie par rapport au bras contrôle n’a été observé. Bien que la société semble encore vouloir réfléchir à des alternatives stratégiques (repositionnement ? arrêt du développement ?), nous considérons au vu des résultats qu’une sortie totale du produit dans les modèles serait plus justifiée.
