Following its partnership with the Chinese company Tasly, we are initiating coverage of Pharnext with a target price of €14,3 (+61% vs. the last share price). Pharnext has developed an innovative approach to drug development: PLEOTHERAPY. This involves creating new treatments by combining and repositioning molecules whose therapeutic target is known at new, lower optimal doses. The company's pipeline is composed of 2 assets in 4 indications. PXT3003, the Group's first product, is currently in Phase III in CMT1A. First results expected to fall in Q2 2018Pharnext SA is a France-based biopharmaceutical company. The Company is focused on discovering, developing and licensing new therapeutic solutions (Pleodrugs) and companion tests for unmet medical needs (large and niche markets) by using the Pleotherapy approach. Pharnext SA runs all its own activities, from research through to clinical development (no further than the end of Phase II trials), and then licenses the Pleodrugs to industrial partners. The Company's prime focus is on neurodegenerative diseases and metabolic diseases.
