Potential masked by a timid start - ACHAT - OC 7€ (vs 9€)
After yesterday's conference call on the potential of HIFUs in breast cancer and after revisions to our estimates, we adjust our Target Price to €7 (vs. €9). We update our estimates of financing requirements (€20m vs €10m), which negatively affects our valuation. Despite a slow start in its target markets, the group laid the foundation for more upbeat prospects in the medium term. As the the fog lifts in its historic markets, the company is studying new indications (Basedow‘s disease or breast cancer in combination) that at this stage are not valued in our TP. We maintain our BUY recommendation.Theraclion SA. Theraclion is a France-based company, which develops High Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HiFu) machines. The Company is a a spin-off of Inserm and EDAPTechomed. The main activity of the Company is developping, manufacturing and marketing echotherapy medical equipments associating therapy by focused ultrasound and monitoring by ultrasound. The Company provides Echopulse, a device for the non-invasive and outpatient treatment of the fibroadenoma of the breast and thyroid nodules.
