LHV Institutional Baltic Insight, May 5th, 2020

* As a result of strict preventive measures imposed by the Estonian, Finnish, and Latvian governments to curb the spread of the coronavirus, Tallink (‘TAL’ or the ‘Company’) saw a sharp drop in its PAX flows across all routes in April 2020, accompanied by similar declines in the number of passenger vehicles transported.
* Additionally, declining economic activity in the Baltic Sea region, as well as a lower number of departures of TAL, led to shrinking total cargo flows. However, the Company managed to keep its cargo traffic relatively steady on the main route between Estonia-Finland.
* In April 2020, TAL’s monthly PAX number plummeted 95.9% y-o-y to just 32,200, with total passenger cars dropping 95.7% y-o-y to 3,600. TAL’s total cargo traffic declined 14.3% y-o-y to 27,700 units. Please also refer to the tables in the attachment.
