Avingtrans is principally engaged in the provision of engineered components, systems and services to the energy, medical and traffic management industries. Co. is organized into two main segments: Energy and Medical. The Energy segment is engaged in the design and manufacture of machined and fabricated pressure and vacuum vessels and process plant and equipment for the power, oil and gas. This segment is also engaged in the design and manufacture of fabricated poles and cabinets for roadside safety cameras and rail track signalling. The Medical segment is engaged in the design and manufacture of machined and fabricated pressure and vacuum vessels for the medical markets.

Renold is an international engineering group, producing a range of engineering products which are sold in various countries worldwide. Co.'s products can be seen in various applications from cement making to chocolate manufacturing, subway trains to power stations, escalators to quarries. Co. is organized into two operating segments: Chain, which manufactures and sells power transmission and conveyor chain and also includes sales of torque transmission products through Chain National Sales Companies; and Torque Transmission, which manufactures and sells torque transmission products such as gearboxes and couplings.

Rotork is a provider for the actuation, flow control and industrial markets. Co. has four product divisions: Controls, which includes products such as electric valve actuator ranges and network control systems for various applications; Fluid Systems, which manufactures and supplies a range of pneumatic, hydraulic and electro-hydraulic actuators and control systems; Gears, which is a manufacturer and supplier of gearboxes, adaptations and accessories to the international valve and actuator industry; and Instruments, which manufactures and supplies instrumentation and control products for flow, pressure, temperature and position measurement applications for a range of industries.

Spirax-Sarco Engineering is an industrial engineering group. Co. operates in two businesses: Spirax Sarco, which is engaged in supplying solutions for the design, maintenance and provision of industrial and commercial steam systems; and Watson-Marlow, which is engaged in the design and manufacture of peristaltic pumps and associated fluid path technologies, with its pumps are suited for a range of applications from biotechnology processes that require sterility and precision to corrosive slurries typically seen in precious metal processing. Co.'s customers span a range of sectors from food and beverage processing, to water treatment plants and pharmaceutical research.
