Moody's affirms KEPCO E&C's A2 issuer rating following rating methodology update
Moody's Investors Service has today affirmed KEPCO Engineering & Construction Co, Inc.'s (KEPCO E&C) A2 issuer rating and maintained the stable outlook. At the same time, Moody's has assigned a Baseline Credit Assessment (BCA) of ba1 to the company, following the publication of Moody's updated Gover...KEPCO Engineering & Construction is engaged in the engineering business. Co.'s activities are divided into the following areas: nuclear power business, which consists of architecture engineering business and nuclear steam supply system design business; power plant business, which is engaged in the construction and maintenance of coal-fired power plants, combined cycle and cogeneration plants, transmission and distribution systems. Co. also provides air pollution control equipment including the flue gas desulfurization systems, and DeNOx systems, as well as water treatment facilities, wastewater treatment facilities, wastewater recycling facilities, and sanitary water treatment facilities.
