Moody's: KDHC's 2016 results consistent with its A1 rating
Hong Kong, February 06, 2017-- Moody's Investors Service says that Korea District Heating Corporation's moderate operating results in 2016 were within expectation and have no immediate impact on its A1 issuer rating and stable outlook. "The moderation in its operating results in 2016 compared to 2015 does not necessarily signal pressure on KDHC's credit quality, because its strong 2015 results reflected the exceptionally low tariff cuts relative to the fall in fuel costs,"...Korea District Heating is state-owned district heating services provider. Co. is engaged in the provision of district heating and cooling services. Co. is also engaged in the community energy system business, which generates hot and cold water through cogeneration plants and heat generation facilities.
