The ratings and outlook shown reflect information as of the publication dateAtlantic Power owns and operates a fleet of power generation assets in the U.S. and Canada. Co.'s power generation projects sell electricity to utilities and other commercial customers primarily under long-term power purchase agreements. As of Dec 31 2016, Co.'s power generation projects had an aggregate gross electric generation capacity of approximately 2,138 megawatts (MW) in which Co.'s aggregate ownership interest is approximately 1,500 MW. As of Dec 31 2016, Co.'s portfolio consisted of interests in 23 power generation projects across nine states in the U.S. and two provinces in Canada.
