Toronto, January 08, 2021-- Moody's Investors Service commented that Domtar Corporation's agreement to sell its personal care business to American Industrial Partners is credit positive, but has no impact on the company's Baa3 senior unsecured rating and stable outlook.Domtar is engaged in designing, manufacturing, marketing and distributing a range of fiber-based products including communication papers, specialty and packaging papers and absorbent hygiene products. Co. is also a marketer and producer of a broad line of incontinence care products as well as infant diapers. Co. operates the following business segments: Pulp and Paper, which consists of the design, manufacturing, marketing and distribution of communication, specialty and packaging papers, as well as softwood, fluff and hardwood market pulp; and Personal Care, which consists of the design, manufacturing, marketing and distribution of absorbent hygiene products.
