New York, January 04, 2021-- Moody's Investors Service commented that the ratings of Magellan Health, Inc. remain under review for downgrade following the announcement that Centene Corporation will acquire Magellan for approximately $2.2 billion in enterprise value.Magellan Health provides managed care services for some of the areas of healthcare. The company provides services to health plans and other managed care organizations, employers, labor unions, various military and governmental agencies and third-party administrators. The company operates the following segments: Healthcare, which consists of the following reporting units, Behavioral and Specialty Health, and Magellan Complete Care; and Pharmacy Management, which is comprised of services that provide clinical and financial management of pharmaceuticals paid under both the medical and the pharmacy benefit.
