Moody's assigns Baa1 rating to Johnson Controls International plc's new notes

Approximately $6.5 billion of new notes to be issued in a debt exchange. No change in consolidated debt balance. New York, November 28, 2016-- Moody's Investors Service assigned Baa1 ratings to the eighteen series of new senior unsecured notes that Johnson Controls International plc will issue to effect a like-for-like exchange of all of the public notes of its subsidiaries, Johnson Controls, Inc. and Tyco International Finance S.A..
