Moody's assigns first-time A2 ratings to Shinhan Card
Hong Kong, December 15, 2016-- Moody's Investors Service has assigned A2 foreign currency and local currency issuer ratings to Shinhan Card Co., Ltd.. The ratings outlook is negative. The ratings of Shinhan Card reflect the company's strong domestic franchise-- as the largest credit card company by assets in Korea-- modest standalone credit profile, and strategic importance to its parent, Shinhan Financial Group Co., Ltd. and its sister bank, Shinhan Bank.
