Moody's assigns (P)A3 rating to Gas Networks Ireland's new EMTN programme; stable outlook
London, 16 November 2016-- Moody's Investors Service, has today assigned a provisional A3 rating to the new EUR1.5 billion Euro Medium-Term Note programme of Gas Networks Ireland. Concurrently, Moody's affirmed the A3 long-term issuer rating of GNI, as well as the P-2 short-term issuer rating. The provisional A3 rating of the new programme is aligned with the A3 issuer rating of GNI, reflecting that notes issued under the programme will be senior unsecured obligations of GNI.
