Moody's: Inflows into Brazilian funds log best year since 2010 as risk aversion eases

Sao Paulo, February 02, 2017-- Net inflows into Brazilian investment funds recovered strongly in the last quarter of 2016, as expectations that Brazil will emerge from recession in 2017 spurred investors to be less risk averse, says Moody's Investors Service in a report. Net inflows into funds totaled BRL109.1 billion in 2016, the highest level for the industry since 2010 and were placed primarily in fixed income and pension funds amid still high interest rates.
