Moody's publishes the 30th annual default study; forecasts a lower default rate for 2017

New York, February 16, 2017-- The global default rate for speculative-grade companies rated by Moody's Investors Service is expected to decline to 3.0% by the end of 2017 from 4.5% in 2016, the rating agency says in its just-published annual default study.
