Moody’s rates Primerica’s senior unsecured notes at Baa1
New York , November 16, 2021 – Moody's Investors Service has assigned a Baa1 rating to Primerica, Inc.'s issuance of $600 million of 10-year senior unsecured debt as well as a (P)Baa1 senior unsecured rating to Primerica's shelf registration. Proceeds from the offerings are expected to mainly be...Primerica, through its subsidiaries, provides financial products to middle-income households in the United States and Canada with licensed sales representatives. The company's segments are: Term Life Insurance, which provides a guaranteed death benefit if the insured dies during the fixed coverage period of an in-force policy; Investment and Savings Products, which distributes and sells to its clients a variety of mutual funds, managed investments, variable, index-linked, and fixed annuities, fixed indexed annuities and segregated funds; and Other Distributed Product, which distributes prepaid legal services, auto and homeowners' insurance referrals, and home automation solutions.
