New York, January 10, 2022-- Moody's Investors Service has assigned a Ba3 rating to Starwood Property Trust, Inc.' s new senior unsecured notes due 2027.Starwood Property Trust is a holding company. The company conducts its operations as a real estate investment trust. The company has four business segments: Real estate commercial and residential lending, which engages mainly in originating, acquiring, financing and managing commercial and residential first mortgages and subordinated mortgages; Infrastructure lending, which engages mainly in originating, acquiring, financing and managing infrastructure debt investments; Real estate property, which engages mainly in acquiring and managing equity interests in commercial real estate properties; and Real estate investing and servicing, which includes a servicing business in the U.S and an investment business.
