Rating Action: Moody's upgrades STMicroelectronics to Baa3, stable outlook. Global Credit Research- 16 Nov 2017. Frankfurt am Main, November 16, 2017-- Moody's Investors Service has today upgraded to Baa3 from Ba1 the rating of STMicroelectronics N.V. and converted the company's Ba1 corporate family rating into a Baa3 long-term issuer rating, in line with the rating agency's practice for non-financial corporates with investment-grade ratings.STM Group is engaged in financial services activities which delivering financial service products to professional intermediaries and the administration of assets for international clients in relation to retirement, estate and succession planning and wealth structuring. Co. has five reportable segments: Corporate Trustee Services, Pensions, Insurance Management, Life Assurance, and Other Services.
