The market breadth was descending (w/w) with 24 decliners, 9 gainers and 13 shares unchanged. At the sector level, “Edition Publication” was the best performer, growing by 13.04% at 197.69 points and the “Tobacco” knew the strongest drop (-7.50%) at 15.61 points.

SUCRIVOIRE CI showed the largest drop of the week (-7.69%) to XOF 780. The deterioration observed on CFAO CI (-7.69%), has induced the bad performance recorded by the Automotive Suppliers Index. At this trading session, SITAB CI fell by 7.50% to stand at XOF 1 110. This Friday, UNILEVER CI recorded a negative performance (-7.33%) and reached a price of XOF 4 170. Finally, CROWN SIEM (-5.77%) remains in the negative trend since the publication of its 2018 results (negative net result of XOF 74 million) with a closing price of XOF 245.
The best performances of the week were recorded by:
NEI CEDA CI recorded a surge of +13.04% for a closing price of XOF 260. With a transaction volume of 10 459 shares, BOA CI (XOF 2 700) and BOA BF (XOF 3 900) recorded increases of 4.25% and 4.00% respectively. With a growth of 2.94%, induced by its 2018 results (net income up by 7.69%), VIVO ENERGY CI (XOF 845) perform by 2.94%. To end this ranking, SAPH CI showed a rise of 2.73% to close at XOF 2 450.
Bond Market Summary
The bond market ended this week with a increase by 0.05% at XOF 3 615.86 billion against XOF 3 614.06 billion last week. This up is mainly due to the gain of XOF 110 on the price of the bond issue “TPBF.06 - TPBF 6.50% 2018-2025”. The total value traded on the market amounts to XOF 2.23 billion for 228 758 bonds traded. The bond “ETAT SENEGAL 6.30% 2015-2025” with 222 695 bonds for XOF 2.24 billion was the most liquid, representing 97.39% of the total value traded.
