Our Hypothesis on Falling Customer Counts & Implications for Estimates
In this report, we discuss revenue trends and breakdown comp performance by transactions and transaction size. We also discuss and analyze new store performance. We present our hypothesis for trends in the business and calucate potential results for the just-ended fourth quarter and early 2018. We compare our forecasts to Street cosnensus estimates and quantify the difference. Lastly, we analyze unit and total company ROIC trends and compare Dollarama valuation and fundamental metrics to a peer group.
Dollarama is engaged in the business of operating dollar stores in Canada. Co. provides a mix of merchandise, including private label and nationally branded products. Co. also offers a broad range of quality consumer products and general merchandise for everyday use, in addition to seasonal products.
